Care – Personal Service – Community – Experience.
These are the cornerstones upon which Rob Agnew has successfully built his career as a residential Real Estate professional in Windsor and Essex County. It also explains why Rob has consistently placed among the top agents throughout the region and is proudly celebrating his 30th year in Real Estate as Broker/Sales Manager at Manor Windsor Realty Ltd.
Rob Agnew grew up in East Windsor in a sales-centric family environment, his father’s appliance and air conditioning business was a downtown fixture; and later, Bob Sr. was Windsor’s 1st general manager of the Better Business Bureau.
After spending years working in sales and marketing across the country for Chrysler Canada, Rob seized an opportunity to resettle permanently in his hometown by accepting a position as manager/buyer of The Custom Shop at Freeds Men’s Wear.
The Real Estate business lured Rob away from Retail in 1989. Today, attributing to his 30 year success is Rob’s unique ability to focus on each client as if he or she were the only client in the world. He knows how to listen, and he has a brilliant aptitude for matching his client’s lifestyle to the home of their dreams.
“When a dream comes to fruition and I see the smiles on my clients’ faces, it’s just exhilarating,” exclaims Rob. “And now, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with my clients’ grown children – that’s the best part!´’ Rob was appointed Broker/General Manager of Manor Realty in 2018; a Top Brokerage of 50- plus agents and they are proud to consistently have the highest volume sales force per capita in the region. Rob is also very proud to have been awarded the prestigious ‘OREA Provincial Realtor* Distinguished Fellowship Award’.
Agnew lives in the east side of town with his wife Leslie, a teacher, and their son, Robbie. As a family, they share a passion for travel. While their professional and philanthropic lives leave little time for leisure activities, they are sure to find space in their schedules for the occasional round of golf or a few sets of tennis.
Importantly, Rob takes great pride in the 22 year philanthropic legacy of The Circle of 7, the local charitable organization of which Rob is a part founder. “We raise funds for people in our own community; for health and wellness, youth sports, and the arts,” emphasizes Agnew. “The money stays here in Windsor-Essex!” This charity, which has raised more than $4 million to date, was founded at a golf course by Rob and a troupe of six friends, borne of a collective desire to give something back to their shared community. Today, the Circle works diligently to this end in partnership many corporate leaders and fellow caring citizens alike.
Rob Agnew’s Circle of 7 interest dovetails nicely with his professional interest in his hometown – to make Windsor-Essex the best it can be! Rob says, “I am committed to this community – I’m so proud of our home; it is the best kept secret in Canada!”
